I Come To Your Door

I come to your door.
Won't you give me the time?

You say, there is no room here
for us two to be so near.

But I love you, it's me...
won't you let's me inside?

And you turn me away
like a salesman that's selling
his bride.

+++++++++++++++++

I stay in a war
in review of my crime.

Won't my love conquer your fear?
Isn't all that I want clear?

Though I'll beg and I'll plea
you dismiss me and hide.

Take a seat by the tree
'til you bury yourself and
your pride.

++++++++++++++++++

I knock on your door
and you ask "who is there?"

It is you who is out here.
it is you who is so near.

It is you, it is love,
and there is no divide.

And the door opens unto
a time where the stars will
collide.

+++++++++++++++++

I come to your door
